This was my first attempt to organize the Platonic Solids into a spherical painting. Later I did a piece called Platonic Relationships. Kepler nested the five regular polyhedron so this has been of interest to people for a long time. There are wonderful connections between them. I tell my students you can build and build but if what you build is beautiful you are usually back at one of the platonic solids.
