The Termesphere Gallery presents the Hands-On, Traveling Termes Exhibition

This display is ideal for libraries, schools, art and science centers, museums etc. where it will be on display for a month(s) at a time.

Eleven units explore different areas connected to Art and Math. This display helps visitors understand the total visual space around them. It teaches that the world we live in is not a flat image in front of us but rather a spherical image that changes with every step we take. All we need to do is turn our heads.

Two and three dimensional puzzles invite the visitors to have fun while learning as they assemble them. Lessons in Drawing and in the study of Perspective also help visitors learn to see the world as it is. Every unit has Hands-on activities that help students of all ages explore and understand the visual wonders of the world around us.

The Hands-On, Traveling Termes Exhibition includes 10 different Exploration Areas.

DRAWING SECTION

Learn to draw from very basics to more advanced.

PERSPECTIVE SECTION (1-6)

Grids help you learn perspective. From 1 Point Perspective all the way to 6 Point Perspective.

MOBIUS STRIP COLORING

Students can color in a mobius drawing Termes created.

CAPTURED WORLDS

Build your own polyhedron with Termes' Six point perspective image on them.

DVD ON TERMESPHERES

Watch a DVD that explains many of Termes' Termespheres.

3D POLYHEDRON PUZZLES

Five three dimensional polyhedron are designed to put a total image on them.

3D TETRA EARTH PUZZLE

This complicated polyhedron uses four triangles to create an Earth. 28 of these triangles will fit tight over this polyhedron with repeated Earths reading properly.

OPTICAL ILLUSIONS

Many different optical illusions are shown on one of the walls.

TETRA ART FLAT PUZZLES

The Tetrahedron when flattened makes great puzzles that fit together in very interesting ways.

BUILD YOUR OWN POLYHEDRON

Magnetic tools and a DVD helps students learn the regular polyhedron and many of the ways they can hook together.
