Mitosis

10″-16″ (1982)
This Termesphere of a double bubble is reproducing its original environment onto the smaller sphere. Images of floating spheres within the paintings are also dividing (mitosis) into double spheres of animals and human forms. As they get closer to the division of the two spheres they too divide. (Half ends up in the new sphere.) The boy, goose and bottle, which are on the small sphere, are hidden inside the covered larger sphere.
