On one of our trips to Paris, we saw Sainte Chapelle.  It was a two story Cathedral just behind Notre Dame.  It was where the kings and queens had worshiped.  The windows were the focal point, so I projected myself up away from the floor to get a better view.  This also brought out the wonderful design in the floor.
